Urticae radix dry standardized extract
Bearberry (Arctostaphylos uva-urs?) extract, standardized to contain speci?c dose of arbutin
Avocado soybean unsaponi?able Quercetin

TREATAPROST is recommended as a health supplement to diet, which provides the reduction of in?ammation symptoms of chronic and bacterial prostatitis such as pain and discomfort, urgent desire to pass urine, increased urination frequency. Epilobium parvi?orum is a component that o?cially approved in European Union for the relief of lower urinary tract symptoms related to benign prostatic hyperplasia due to its pronounced antioxidant, antibacterial, and analgesic e?ects. In laboratory tests Epilobium parvi?orum extract demonstrated capability to inhibit aromatase, and 5-reductase – the compounds which impact the metabolism of hormones and contribute into the development of hyperplasia of prostatic stromal and epithelial cells. Extract Urticae radix provides anti-in?ammatory e?ect, inhibits the activities of 5a-reductase and aromatase and because of this suppresses testosterone-stimulated increases in prostate volume. As result Urticae radix is e?ective in the symptomatic treatment of lower urinary tract disorders: nocturia, polyuria, urinary retention. Extract of Uva-Urs? may act directly against most common pathogens (Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus subtilis, Escherichia coli, Mycobacterium smegmatis, Shigella sonnei, Proteus mirabilis, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa). Avocado/soybean unsaponi?able is natural vegetable extract made from avocado and soybean oil. As health supplement, it demonstrated capability to reduce pain and amount of used non-steroidal anti-in?ammatory drugs (NSAID) in people with in?ammatory diseases. Quercetin is a polyphenolic bio?avonoid commonly found in plants. It has documented anti-oxidant and anti-in?ammatory properties and inhibits in?ammatory cytokines implicated in the pathogenesis of prostatitis. Finally, quercetin does have weak antibacterial and antifungal properties which might play a central role in prostatitis.
